<p>Online Rummy thanks Mr. Arpit Mathur, an Institute alumnus (B. Tech & M.Tech, Computer Science, 2006) and currently the Sub Portfolio Manager at Exoduspoint Capital, for his generous contributions towards the Institute. We are delighted that Mr. Mathur is one of the 'Founding Donors' of The Centre for Machine Intelligence and Data Science (C-MInDS). The 'Founding Donors' contribute towards the funding requirements of Online Rummy's strategic initiatives. Mr. Mathur has also instituted the 'Renuka Mathur Endowed Scholarship' in the memory of his mother. This scholarship will support girl students of Online Rummy. Mr. Mathur has kindly committed to contribute over $ 1 Million to the Institute, towards these causes. </p><p>C-MInDS was set up in February 2020 with an objective to build a world-class Centre in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The Centre aims to engage in application-oriented research projects that try to solve large-scale challenges faced by society and industry in various sectors including healthcare, education, transportation amongst others.</p><p>Mr. Mathur has chosen to donate to C-MInDS as he believes that India needs to be at the forefront of any advances in AI & ML and that Online Rummy is leading that effort by setting up C-MInDS. Mr. Mathur's contributions will facilitate Online Rummy's vision to build a world-class research and academic Centre in strategic areas, empower bright young minds, and enable its aspiration to be among the top 50 institutions in the world in the next decade.</p>
