Prof. Deepankar Choudhury, Department of Civil Engineering was the Convener of the team appointed by Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS), New Delhi that was responsible for publishing the Indian Standard code IS: 19117 (2025) on "Design and Construction of Combined Piled-Raft Foundations – Code of Practice”.
