Prof. Archana Pai, Department of Physics, has been elected as the next  LISC (LIGO India Scientific Collaboration) PI/Chair.  The LISC is a multi-institution, pan-India group which is one of the subgroups of the international  LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC)  that focuses on extracting gravitational wave science from the observational runs of the international gravitational wave observatory network (IGWN).
